Hello, little one,
We're on our second to last day here in Springfield and it's been the best trip I've ever had. I got to meet your great-grandparents, Roger and Alice Marie Tobias. They were so funny and sweet. Grandma Alice cupped my face and told me how pretty I am and that she hopes to see me again. Grandpa Roger was a cut-up, so funny and sarcastic. Everything he said reminded me of your papa. I even told your papa on the way back to the hotel room that he's literally his grandparents in one person.
Last night, I got to meet your grandma, Angel Lusk and your uncles, Ryan and Kyle. Your grandma cried and your papa cried. I nearly cried as they clung to each other in the parking lot of the restaurant. All the three of the boys are varying degrees of Steve Lusk though. Your Uncle Ryan is the most like your grandpa. It felt like I was sitting at a table with your grandpa while he told stories. Your Uncle Kyle was quiet and to himself most of the time, but when he did pop into the conversation, he had the same way of telling stories as your papa.
Today, we're going to the Columbus Zoo. I'm so excited. Just a heads up (retroactively), I'll be taking to every zoo I possibly can. Some of my favorite memories of my parents were us going to the zoo.
We should be meeting up with the whole family again. I'll be sure to get better pictures then. I trusted your papa to get a good selfie of him and his mom. I hope to have many pictures to send you afterward.
I Love You,
Momma
