3 Months Old???

My Boy

 

5:30 A.M

 

I wake up every morning at 5:30 because that's when he used to wake me up. Now I lay here for at least another hour, wide awake, before he decides he's ready to get up for the day. The first few days, I had to make sure he was breathing because it scared me that the sun was up but he wasn't. Do I get up and go to the bathroom, start coffee, put proper pants on.... nope. #3MonthsIn6Days

Why Do We Call You "Turtle"?

 

Why do we call you "Turtle"?

There's this adorable phenomenon known as the newborn scrunch. When you did the newborn scrunch, I started calling it your turtle face. At first, I couldn't figure out why I called it that, but then I realized why. It reminded me of a character from a movie called Master of Disguise. And every time you did the newborn scrunch, Papa and I would say, "Turtle Face!" I think I was doing a mixture of Master of Disguise and "Llama Face!" from Emperor's New Groove. It evolved into just Turtle and that was just what we called from then on.

 And we love our Turtle so much.
